Ok, hear me out! I know this sounds crazy but if you take a look at these benefits and then try it for yourself just once, it might just be the tool that you’ve been looking for to optimize your life. I personally do this to get that first BIG inhalation. As if it’s a brand new breath of a brand new day– kinda like a rebirth of sorts. Whatever happened yesterday or last week does not matter anymore. I’ve given myself a brand new life. Ok, maybe a tad bit dramatic but still… Can you imagine? If you went for it, jumped and won the first battle of your ego for that day?! You instantly make that small nagging doubtful voice in your head, your b**! Yes!! There’s power in that!! And when things get tough during the day, you realize, “Hey! I took a cold ass shower this morning! I can take on anything!!” Invincible, I tell you! I took a cold shower today, could you tell from my excitement?! hahaha.
Here Are More Reasons Why Cold Showers Are So Beneficial:
Great circulation.
Yes, gets your blood pumping and everything flowing smoothly in your internal and external organs. The more it flows, the better we go.
Your immune system is invincible.
Think of all the fighting cells being given the most healthiest and natural pre-workout and other forms of nutrients to get that boost to help fight off diseases and nasty viruses.
Energizes you.
I always end up dancing like a Bollywood star with a big fat grin on my face when I’m fighting it. I hop out still dancing and hyper just to warm my body up from the inside. It’s fun!
Relieves depression or sadness.
Because you’re too busy having fun with Bollywood that you forget all your problems. ๐
Weight loss
Revs up your metabolism. Remember how I mentioned heating my body up from the inside. Yeah, I’m talking about burning more calories to stay warm and get back to a comfortable state.

This one is immediate. I always feel like the follicles in my hair just have an extra protective shield over it once I get out and towel dry it.

Saves our Earth. And I do this with Sophia. I know you might think it’s torture, but she’s weird like me and LOVES this!! I always invite her and 10 times out of 10 she’ll say YES! Both of us screaming and splashing water at each other, racing to see who’s first to rinse off their bubbles, or who wins the dance competition by coming up with the best dance moves, all of it is such a great bonding experience.
So, are you convinced now? It’s still cold where you’re at geographically and you still don’t want to try it? Alright, alright. I’ll give it to ya but just remember the next time you’re about to hop in the shower, think of it as an opportunity to play and it could be the first practice to do something out of your comfort zone that day. Might suck at first, but like a beginner at the gym, you’ll hate it until you depend on it and then train it to have a new stimulus to leave you feeling great. That’s where the greatness is, in doing the uncomfortable. ๐
