What were your reservations before you started with me?
I honestly thought this was just going to be another diet or workout plan I test out. I could not tell you how many fad diets or workout plans I tried to complete before meeting Jaclyn. I downloaded so many apps and tried to workout out by myself but in the end I lost my motivation. I never knew what I was doing nor did I know how to keep it consistent. My food diets was terrible because I would eat the same bland food every time hoping I would lose weight.
Where were you before you coached with me? What were your struggles?
I was obese and lethargic before being coached by Jaclyn. I would try something for a day or maybe even a week and without any immediate results, I would just quit. My health was slowly declining to the point I had several health setbacks. I didn’t want to accept that my nutrition and weight was a factor. I kept eating and not working out. I would make excuses for myself. I tried to love myself for the way I was. I didn’t think I needed to change at all. It was all about self love in the present.
What was the breakthrough you had during our coaching?
My biggest break through was making it through the first week and thinking did I really just do this? Physically, I didn’t see changes right away (which is 100% normal) , but the mindset exercises was out of this world. It was amazing how an extra hour of just reevaluation has helped me tremendously. Not only was I not scared of committing to something for 8 weeks, but I wanted to. I wanted to love myself even more than I already did. Self love did not mean accepting myself in my current state, but it brought out the best version of myself. I cried ALOT. Jaclyn brought out my vulnerability and made me realize my worth and capabilities. We never realize the amount of baggage we are holding for ourselves and it was time for me to LET IT GO. I couldn’t continue to carry everything that I thought was true because it wasn’t. It was all in my head. She made me realize and appreciate the body that I have.
What are the actual specific results that you got?
Before, I was over 180 lbs and now I am 170 lbs and proud of it. Before, walking around was a chore and I would breath heavy just walking up the stairs. Now I just freaking killed Angels Landing which is one of the most strenuous hikes. Before starting this program I was very afraid of the gym. I would be overwhelmed by the equipment and the people working out. However now I can work out anywhere whether it’s in a gym or even at home. Before on the outside I would portray I was ok with myself when I really wasn’t. I have always wanted to lose weight but I was starting to accept myself. I won’t be pretty. Then I met Jaclyn. Not only did I lose weight, but I found my confidence. I was proud of my body. I woke up excited to be alive and take on the day. I was no longer dreading my body or making comments about myself.
Who would you recommend this for?
I would recommend this for everyone. Seriously, everyone. This program isn’t for the faint of heart. You will break down every now and then and think back at what you have gotten yourself into but trust me it’s worth it. General Review
I am one of Jaclyn’s online clients and I never thought I would pay for a program. I was always hesitant about programs that promised transformation because it’s all about me and my own determination. Needless to say, this program is not that. I have not only learned workouts and meal plans, but I learned a whole new lifestyle. Although this was an online program, Jaclyn was there the whole time pushing and motivating me. She will always make sure you are on track to reaching your goals. Sure enough, half way through the program I started seeing drastic results both physically and mentally. I have never been this comfortable in my own skin before and I could not have found my SPARKLE without Jaclyn.
