With a mild form of Cerebral Palsy on her left side, Francis was afraid that it would be hard to find a trainer that could help her balance and gain strength with both sides of her body. Her goal was to lose weight, gain strength and flexibility on both sides of the body, and get help with her nutrition. Read on to how this process went for her.

What were your reservations before you started with me? 

Oh boy, where to start! I had a lot of reservations before starting this health journey! 1) I didn’t know if I was going to be strong enough to keep up with the program. I had tried several times to lose weight and I would give up eventually. 2) I knew this was going to be an investment in my health and I was a little apprehensive about that aspect of the journey. And most of all 3) I have a mild form of Cerebral Palsy, it mostly affects my left side so I’m not as strong and have less mobility and flexibility on that side. I didn’t know if Jaclyn could work with my limitation. I’m super excited to say that all my apprehensions were cleared out when I started working with Jaclyn!

Where were you before you coached with me? What were your struggles?

Before I started coaching with Jaclyn, I was really self conscious of my body and felt mad that I let it get where I was. I have always been a little self conscious because of my cerebral palsy and how it affects my body but now my weight gain wasn’t helping. Plus, as I’m getting older, I’m becoming more aware that I need to take better care of myself. Not only did I want to loose weight but I wanted to feel healthier, be stronger, and have more mobility and flexibility specially on my left side.

What was the breakthrough you had during our coaching? 

The biggest breakthrough I had was the fact that no matter what was happening in my life, I kept going! Yes, there were days and weeks that were harder than others but I kept pushing on. It was honestly the fact that Jaclyn was always there when I needed her and even on my non personal training days I had Jaclyn in my head saying “You can do it,” “keep going,” “hold the money.” Lol! Working with Jaclyn has definitely been life changing and I couldn’t thank her enough.

What are the actual specific results that you got?

Before I was unhappy with the way I looked, I would look in the mirror and judge everything about my body. I started to getting anxious about how my body could get worst over time and with age. Now, physically, mentally, and emotionally I’m feeling soooo much better! I’m feeling like I can do anything I set my mind to! I’m so happy I found Jaclyn who set this all in motion for me.

Who would you recommend this for? 

Everyone! Everyone will love this program! If you want to begin your health journey and don’t know where to start, Jaclyn is your girl! Yes, it won’t be easy but during the program and afterwards it will feel AMAZING knowing that pushed yourself and that YOU are doing it!

General Review 

I honestly can’t thank Jaclyn enough for being there for me in every step of the way! When training with her in person, it felt awesome to have Jaclyn right there next to me helping me. I loved that she would stand right next to me guiding me and helping me with the weights or exercise if it was harder for me to do on my left side. She made sure that my hand, wrist, or arm were in the right position and that I didn’t get injured. She is an amazing person and will help you too! If you are considering joining this program, don’t hesitate and do it now! You won’t regret it!
